Summary

Bob Books are back, now with a bright, unique box display and colored illustrations throughout that make learning to read even more fun!
Bob Books Set 1: Beginning Readers

Teach a child letter sounds with Bob Books Set 1! With four letters in the first story, children can read a whole book。 Consistent new sounds are added gradually, until young readers have read books with all letters of the alphabet (except Q)。 Short vowels and three-letter words in simple sentences make Bob Books Set 1 a fun confidence builder。 With little books, come big success。 (TM)

Finally On KindleThese books are a great way to teach phonics and sight words。 They also help you see for yourself if your child is learning how to read or just memorizing the words from their classes。 These books also work great in the EFL industry。 Thank you for bringing this lovely series to Kindle。 🥰🥰🥰

I like that the books inside are different colors。 It's good that there were different names。 I like that the books inside are different colors。 It's good that there were different names。 。。。more

Can I count the books my daughter and I read together? Why not? Didn’t use these with the older girls but these are engaging and fun and not too repetitive for the parent。 Great success builder for R! I’m going to be sad when we finish them all。

After hearing about Bob Books I decided to borrow a few from my local library。 I haven’t actually used them with our 4 year old grandson but I will say that the one thing I found terribly annoying were the stiff ‘pages’ between the stories。 Are all Bob books like this? I can understand the use of a title page but not the ‘ad’ that appears after every story。 Or was this because it was a library copy?I found it very difficult to use the book because of these stiff ‘pages。 I think I’ll keep looking After hearing about Bob Books I decided to borrow a few from my local library。 I haven’t actually used them with our 4 year old grandson but I will say that the one thing I found terribly annoying were the stiff ‘pages’ between the stories。 Are all Bob books like this? My 3 year old is reading! Our pediatrician suggested them to us, and we’re so glad he did。 As well as he’s reading them, he does try to memorize the pages and order, so I cover the pictures and only reveal them after he’s read the page。 He feels so confident and wants to read 3 of them every night before bed!

Great learning toolSuper helpful。 I would buy this again。 It gives new readers confidence。 They were suggested by the elementary school teachers。

Highly Recommend by my 5 years old nephew。Easy to read and keeps kids interested。 My nephew was struggling with books that said was written for his age so when I bought this set for him, he read two of the books and felt so confident that he finished the whole set so fast! Would definitely buy all of the sets for my son when he gets older and for others as gifts。

Jessica Foster

My 6yo son struggles with reading so much。 These were great to build confidence。

William

Predictable plot。 Little story continuation between the books。

These books are geared for independent reading for primary students。 Bob Books are excellent beginning reading books for children just beginning on the process of learning to read。 They are phonics based and have very simple vocabulary and pictures。

Chanin Gellasch

We had many of these sets。 They were a great start to getting my children to read。

I am a homeschooler。 My nine year old used these at 5 years old and excelled in them。 Each book starts at book 1 and then slowly starts getting harder as you go through them。 My 5 yr old is now using them and reading like an expert。 He feels intelligent and wants to catch up to big brother。 It is a joy for me to know "They read because I helped them!" This is what it must feel like to be a great public school teacher and see yourself in their progress。 I recommend these books for beginners and e I am a homeschooler。 My nine year old used these at 5 years old and excelled in them。 Each book starts at book 1 and then slowly starts getting harder as you go through them。 My 5 yr old is now using them and reading like an expert。 He feels intelligent and wants to catch up to big brother。 It is a joy for me to know "They read because I helped them!" Great book。 My daughter felt so proud that she can read。Great book。 I will buy all the books in the series。 My daughter is so motivated to read。 First thing in the morning, she asks if she can read。 Thank yoh Bob and Amazon for making these available。

Excellent books to begin the journey of learning how to read。 The first book uses only 4 letters, and more letters are greatly added in later books。 They use mostly CVC words with short vowel sounds。 They were easy for my daughter to pick up and built a lot of confidence。 They were also silly enough to keep her interested。

Besides the fact my son thought they were coloring books, he enjoys them a lot 😁

Jessica

These phonics based books have been great for teaching my daughter how to read。 She knew most sounds of the alphabet before we began, and I think that helped her to fly through this first set。 I haven’t found other books yet that are made up of primarily 2-3 letter words。 I think her ability to master this set increased her confidence in reading and she loves to practice these books。 We are working on set 2 now!

So the cat。。。I really liked the cat because。。。the cat。。。I really liked the cat's owner。 And the cat was so amazing because he was fat, fat and he waited for the owner of him to nap so I really liked that。 I think people should do that and be patient。 And I really liked that it was very, very, very, very, very nice for you guys to let me have it。 And, um, I enjoyed reading it。 So the cat。。。I really liked the cat because。。。the cat。。。I really liked the cat's owner。 And the cat was so amazing because he was fat, fat and he waited for the owner of him to nap so I really liked that。 I think people should do that and be patient。 And I really liked that it was very, very, very, very, very nice for you guys to let me have it。 And, um, I enjoyed reading it。 。。。more

Loved by my, then 4yo, as she discovered she could read a book。 Pictures are simple, but child loves to learn the words more than look at the pictures。

(2019-02-25; 2-star; it was okay)It so, so hard for me to read。 And it so, so, so, so hard for me again。I love the pictures。 Well, I just love the fat cat and just everything that's fat。 The fat cat one。 And I just love it story [of the cat]。 So, I love even some parts is silly, too。 And yeah。 (2019-02-25; 2-star; it was okay)It so, so hard for me to read。 And it so, so, so, so hard for me again。I love the pictures。 Well, I just love the fat cat and just everything that's fat。 The fat cat one。 And I just love it story [of the cat]。 So, I love even some parts is silly, too。 And yeah。 。。。more

We just finished the first box, and read them in order。 One book each night。 When my 5 year old started she struggled with mixing up "I" sounds with "t" sounds。 She has mastered it! He reading is improving with each book。 These are perfect for early readers and the stories are smart and not boring either。 The pictures don't give the words away completely, which I appreciate! Great beginner readers I have the physical and kindle versions。 Both are perfect。 I was impressed with how well the kindle version was done。 I do wish they would properly label the pages to make finding a certain book faster in the kindle version。
